Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement

The Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement, which was approved by the federal government and the courts last year, will provide at least $1.9 billion to former students who claim sexual, physical or psychological abuse at the 130 schools that were run jointly by the government and religious organizations until the mid-1970s.

    it s actually better than nothing and there are things that are done like abuse, which can never be repaired nor forgotten, nor compensed.

    Those who go forward would tell you there are many things to be done that CAN be changed in the present and future.

    I’d be interested in knowing what work you did for the INAC and how things went on about that, if you are willing to let know about it, that is…
